ACMA Golf Day 2020

The “Precision Homes” ACMA Golf Day was held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Westward Ho Golf Club, West Beach

ACMA held its Golf Day on 18th Oct 2020. Initially scheduled in March 2020, golf was postponed owing to the Covid 19 pandemic. We finally got to tee off on the in Spring with 14 members and four guests from our sponsors Benson Radiology and Precision Homes. It was a pleasant spring day at the Patawalonga golf course. We had some members without official handicap called hackers in golf terminology. But we still managed to arrange a friendly competition among the hackers.

Several younger members participated in the event for the first time and we hope many more will be there when we have our next golf day. At the end of the day, Dr Foo Chee Kok won the competition and took home the challenge trophy.

Dr Tew Kim Seng was the best among the other golfers, and he also took home a trophy. You can hear stories of the near misses and funny moments of the day among the members at the dinner we had at the end of the day.

We encourage members to practise their golf and sharpen their skills for the next challenge in 2021.

Post game dinner and presentation was held at Empress Restaurant.
